This office in Kendall Square, MA was different from the typical new build, long term offices I worked on - this was a temporary pop up site in an old bank, utilizing all of the pre-defined spaces and existing walls. As an added challenge, all the walls were glass which was an interesting problem in a space where privacy and sound masking are extremely important. Because this space was a temporary pop-up it needed to be both eye catching and significantly below budget, while still promoting brand recognition. To that end, I designed custom wallpaper to flow throughout the lobby and had our millworkers build out a screen I designed on their cnc machine. A combination of solid and sheer draperies added privacy and sound masking to the interior glass walls and added texture to the storefront.
